When we first rescued our Emu’s, they were weeks old and about the size of a chicken.
In fact, we housed them with our chickens. They quickly grew so we built them their own predator-proof enclosure.
In less than 90 days they were over 4 feet tall, and in about 120, nearly 5 feet tall.
It was time for a new enclosure. Thanks to the generosity of a couple of donors, this came together quickly.
